Life, like sports is about momentum.

I am an Athlete For Life because I apply the skills learned through sports to every facet of life.

The Athlete in me is: A Father, Husband, Dreamer, Doer, Son, Innovator, Coach, Professor, Sailor, Educator, Supporter, Servant, Believer….

My athletic journey applies to all these areas.

Service is Essential.  To Whom Much is Given, Much is Expected.

My service includes:

  • Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserves – Public Affairs Officer
  • Loudoun Education Foundation, Trustee
  • Virginia Governor Advisory Board on Service and Volunteerism
  • Loudoun County Economic Development Commission
  • Youth Basketball Coach and mentor
  • Loudoun County Housing Advisory

Being a professor allows me to share what knowledge I have with others.  It is also an opportunity for me to continue to learn because I firmly believe that by teaching we better understand what we are teaching and we also learn from those we teach.

It has been a privilege to support the creative minds of students preparing to be the future thinkers and leaders.

* Georgetown Excellence In Teaching Award Recipient

I connect with people. Whether large or small, the power in speaking is being able to connect.  We are more alike than we are different, and as a public speaker I look to tap into that connection.

Past speaking engagements include:

  • Virginia Service and Volunteerism Conference
  • SEME Conference Moderator
  • Georgetown Athletic Recognition Ceremony master of ceremony
  • Jr. NBA Youth Leadership Conference Moderator
  • Georgetown University Student-Athlete Panelist

As a business development executive, it’s through thought leadership that I help grow businesses and map out long-term solutions that will grow business and engage a variety of customers.

Engagement is key to a successful executive, and I am always eager to connect others because I know that true leadership is about giving people the tools for success so that they too can learn to be successful.
