Memorial Day gives all Americans across the globe a day to honor the memory of our military veterans, both past and present.
We all have heard the phrase “Freedom isn’t Free”. For our United States, the meaning of these three words has moved ordinary women and men to answer the call of service to protect our Nation’s values- Memorial Day belongs to them.
There is perhaps no better movement that can say thank you to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice than to educate and share America’s culture of service and volunteerism around the global and domestically. Through sharing this very culture, we insure that tomorrow’s generations never forget and are prepared to lead the movement.
We as a nation, must always remember all of our fallen Heroes and Veterans. It is an American honor and a way of life that places service for others above anything else.
So, this weekend as you enjoy your time with family and friends, and as you bask in the glory that is our great nation, take the time to honor the American flag in your own way and think about what those stars and stripes mean to you, your family and your community.
God bless all our Fallen Heroes and their families; the active and reserve military men and women protecting freedom today at home and abroad, and all the veterans among us.
God bless the United States of America.
